Keyword Research Too Complicated? Use this Simple Strategy for Business Growth
Well hey there and welcome back to another episode of the Mama Business Podcast. Today we are talking about one of the main pieces of search engine optimization, or SEO, and that’s keyword research.
And before we really dig into it, I want to take a moment to say, “Don’t overthink this.”
Seriously.
STOP. OVERTHINKING. IT.
Because while there are very specific SEO strategies you can use within your business, the root of keyword research is actually pretty simple: it’s knowing what your potential client or customer is searching for, asking for, or needing from you.
It’s you knowing that so you can serve them.
Period.
Repeat after me: Keyword research is knowing what my potential client or customer needs so I can serve them.
It really is that simple. So, don’t get bogged down in this. Promise? Okay.
So, there are really four questions I get frequently around this topic, so I’m going to answer them right now.
In this episode, we’ll cover:
- What is a keyword?
- Why do keywords matter?
- How do I know which keyword to use?
- Where do I use my keywords?
…and more. Listen in now!
